One of the greatest benefits of having laminated office furniture instead of wood or veneer is a breeze to maintain and clean. Laminates are scratch and stain resistant to a great extent, but still you need to clean your laminate furniture regularly in the right way to ensure that it will last longer.
Dust Regularly:
You should regularly dust the laminate sheets used in making your furniture. It can be done by using an oil free furniture spray. You can also use furniture polish on the laminates but be sure to wipe off any excess.
Wash Using Warm, Soapy Water:
You can wash by using a mixture of liquid dish soap and warm water. Always rinse the laminate after cleaning else the cleaning solution left on the surface will cause marring.
Remove the Stains Carefully:
Use a mixture of hot water and baking soda to remove grease and difficult stains on the laminate sheets used. Apply the paste using a bristle brush in circular motion. Do not press too hard.
Tips:
Keep your laminated furniture out of direct sunlight as this may lead to discoloration of the laminates over time. High-temperature items like hot coffee mugs or and bowls may create heat stains and marring on the furniture.
