Key Club is an international organization devoted to the principle of service, to the advancement of individual community and national welfare, to the building of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship, and to the strengthening of international goodwill. Key Club is the largest high school service organization in the world, continuing to grow rapidly in over 30 countries with over 5,000 registered clubs.
KEY CLUB MEMBERS IN ACTION
To be an active member of the Dimond High Key Club, you must:
Attend the meetings :
Meetings are held every other Wednesday of the month during lunch in Ms. Tran's room A109
You may have 3 excused absences (text remind or let an officer know to get them excused)
If you have 3 UNEXCUSED absences you are not allowed to be an active member
Attain 20 hours of community service annually :
7 inside hours (inside hours are hours that're offered specifically through DHS Key Club)
13 outside hours (hours that you do on your own without getting paid, or helping a friend/family member)
This is only the minimum amount of hours, you can always exceed if wanted
Membership Fee :
$15.50 by the last week of November
