2015−2018年,日本学術振興会特別研究員(PD)として,人工知能研究室(筑波大学,鈴木健嗣教授)でウェアラブルデバイスやソーシャルロボットを用いた自閉スペクトラム症児の対人相互作用の計測と支援に関する研究に従事。2017年,自閉症研究センター(Center for Autism Research, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Joseph P. McCleery研究員, アメリカ・フィラデルフィア )訪問研究員として,眼球運動の条件づけに関する研究に従事。

Soichiro MATSUDA is an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Human Sciences, and also Principal Investigator of Behavioral Design Laboratory. He received the B.S., M.A, and Ph.D. in Psychology from Keio University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2010, 2012, 2016 respectively. He was awarded a research fellowship by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. From 2015 to 2018, he was a researcher at Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, University of Tsukuba. In 2017, he was a visiting scholar at Center for Autism Research, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

His primary research interests include early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder, using technology in intervention, and parent training with a particular emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. A special emphasis is laid on the design of human-human interaction by psychological and information technologies.

Award: Our paper "Egocentric Smaller-person Experience through a Change in Visual Perspective", received Honourable Mention Award at ACM CHI 2019.
