1. Click FILE menu.

2. Hover over SEND COMPANY FILE to see the drop-down menu

3. Hover over ACCOUNTANT'S COPY for another drop-down menu

4. Hover over CLIENT ACTIVITIES for the final drop-down menu

If you want to save the file locally: (Use this option if you are going to bring your documents to our office.)

• 1. Select SAVE FILE. 

  2. Choose the appropriate location where you want to save the file.

If you want to send the file using Accountant's Copy File Transfer service (ACFT) 

• 1. Select SEND TO ACCOUNTANT>NEXT.

  2. Enter the DIVIDING DATE>NEXT. (Please use "CUSTOM": ENTER: 01/01/2024 For 2023 Income Taxes)

  3. Enter your accountant's email address, (stroutcpa@hotmail.com), your name, and your email address.

  4. Create and reenter a file transfer password for security. If needed, you can also include a note to your accountant.

  5. Select SEND. QuickBooks will then close all windows.

  6. PROVIDE YOUR ACCOUNTANT WITH THE PASSWORD TO OPEN YOUR FILE.
