Step 1: Make your cartoon image of yourself using Photoshop.
- You will be shown the basic tools of Photoshop to make your own cartoon
- Think about your identity and the image you want to make of yourself
- Examples of the skills you will learn about and should display are:
o Navigator, History and Layers
o Crop, Resizing, Image Adjustments, Filters, Burn, Blur, Smudge Tools
o Paint bucket, gradient, styles
Step 2: Make your cartoon image suitable to print for a display
- You will use backgrounds, gradients, text and font styles in your display page
- Think of a background and name that suits your identity
- Give your cartoon a unique name and use text/font skills in Photoshop to make it presentable
- Tools you will use include: Paint bucket, gradient, styles, text and effects
- Save your final cartoon image as a jpeg file.
