Who Am I?
My Core Educational Values in teaching include
● I believe in student centered learning. As a teacher I believe all teachers should be dedicated to the students intellectual, emotional and social development. We should inspire out students in a learning environment that is trusting yet challenging.
● I believe all teachers should be able to work as part of a team whether it be working with colleagues or with students.
● I believe teachers should be innovative and be always willing to try new educational approaches. The “Life Long learners” adage should be clearly evident in our teaching and our approaches to teaching.
● I believe in teachers being Globally minded and challenging their own belief systems and learning from other people or learning acceptance of something we may not fully understand.

● ISS HOD Design (G6-G10). I teach G9 and G10 but plan/coordinate the units in G6 to G8.

● BMIS Design teacher (G6-G8)
● ISS Tech Integrator (G9-G12). I am responsible for Tech Integration in HS. This year I introduced Tech Goals as part of our appraisal process and it has been a huge success.
● WS Tech Committee member/chairman in all three international schools I have worked in.
● ManageBac Coordinator: At the start of the year I train the new teachers on how to use Managebac and work with the analytics dept on the reporting side of managebac. I am also involved in troubleshooting issues that occur from time to time
● WS Tech Integrator (ISU): In my previous school I was WS Tech integrator. This involved working with colleagues to contribute creatively to effective working teams.
● IT Coordinator (BMIS): In this school I did everything from training of software and hardware to Tech staff, to the hiring, school wide planning and the ordering of equipment for next year.
● Mentor/Workshop leader at New Age Hackathon Singapore Aug 27th-28th 2016
● Mentor/Workshop leader at the Ideas Hacks Hackathon Nov 5th 6th 2016.
● Personal Project Coordinator: At the end of G9 I am responsible for introducing the personal project to G9 and guiding the students for 3 weeks in their unpacking of the Personal Project.

● App Inventor Club: We have competed in two Hackathons, New age Hackathon and Ideas Hack.

● Yearbook Club (Advised students on producing a student led yearbook)
● CounterStrike Club (Gaming Club)
● WWW Grade level trip Planner to climb Mount Elgon. I was part of the G9 team that for 2 years running planned etc and then climbed Mount Elgon (4,321m) in Uganda.
