Astro Guides - Synscan Setting Coordinates

When setting the coordinates on a Synscan controller, use this site - http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html - to obtain the coordinates first and then look towards the bottom left of the page and set the coordinates using the Degrees and Minutes figures (see screenshot below).

Using the figures from below you would enter 0 , 44 W | 52 , 3 N Which corresponds to the order Longitude | Latitude of the boxes that have been highlighted red in the image below.

The Longitude will be W(est) if the value is negative and would be E(ast) if it is positive. In this case (-0 , 44) being a negative value it is W(est)

The Latitude will be N(orth) if the value is positive and will be S(outh) if it were negative. In this case (52, 3) being a positive value it is N(orth)
