I have a Skywatcher Newt with a Crayford focuser and when using a CCTV with the 1.25 eyepiece holder, I could not get it to focus due to lack of in travel.
Here is one way of working around this problem without buying anything extra.
What you do is unscrew the 1.25 draw tube from the round plate, like you were going to use the round plate for prime focus, and then screw it in from the OTHER SIDE :-)
Now whatever you put in the draw tube is almost flush with the round plate, you need to remove the eye piece retaining screws in order to do this, but you can either put a slip of paper to get a friction grip or put shorter screws in or something similar.
As is...
Pieces dismantled
Re - assembled - but reversed
Pop back in focuser
Insert whatever accessory, just using a 1.25 to T-Thread adapter in this example
