Solo and Ensemble
· Every student must arrive at least 30 minutes before his or her scheduled playing time to warm up and tune.
· Make sure you have the measure numbers written in PENCIL on your solo.
Where: Markham Woods Middle School
Dress: Students should dress professionally for this event. A safe choice would be black pants and band polo.
Parking: Parking has been an issue in the past. You may want to arrive earlier than the 30 minutes OR parents can drop off the students so they can warm up while the parents find a parking spot.
Results: Results will be posted about 30 minutes after your performance OR you can wait until Monday to find out your rating during class.
Grading scale: Superior (A), Excellent (B), Good (C), Fair (D), or Poor (F).
