DClamp 4.0 Usage

DClamp 4.0 works with DClamp ('dcl') and European Data Format ('edf') files. A brief tutorial on how to get started is provided below:

1. Start DClamp. Open a new file:

2. After choosing a file, specify channels to be loaded, and click OK.

3. In this example, Test1 is 56 MB file that DClamp opens as a single segment.  Go to 'Analysis' tab, modify 'Options' if needed, and click on 'Ictal-Like' button to proceed with the analysis.

4. The results are color-coded and displayed as an excel file.

5. For bigger files: in this example, Test2 is a 168 MB file that DClamp displays and analyzes segment by segment. While opening Test2, DClamp displays this message:

6. To navigate between segments, using options on the right in the display tab:

7. If analyzing segment by segment, one can skip to the segment of choice and proceed with the analysis as outlined in the previous steps. If all segments are going to be analyzed at once (by choosing 'Analyze All' button), DClamp will ask for a folder location to store the results. The results for each segment are then stored as 'DCR' files.

8. To load 'DCR' results, click 'Display Results Window' on Analysis tab, and then on 'Load Events' on the excel sheet that pops up. Clicking on 'Load Events' will let you choose the 'DCR' file corresponding to the segment you want to analyze.
