DC Tour duh Hash (TDH)

What is Tour duh Hash, you ask? It's your opportunity to hash with different kennels in the DC area! For the past 15ish years, we've done a true "gathering of the clans" and visited every kennel day after day until we'd run them all. We learned some new songs, ran trails in places we'd never have seen otherwise, down-downed a lot of beers, and met a hell of a lot of new Hashers - many of whom we still see at Full Moons and other local and not-so-local hash events.

So check your calendars and plan your work schedules - take some time off so that you can hit all the kennels in 9 days, or as many of them as you can. Your liver may regret it, but you certainly won't! Can you add your name to the list of finishers?

Tuesday Night - June 6, 7 PM - So Happy It's Tuesday H3

22 finishers

5.8 miles

Total TdH miles - 28

Wednesday Night, June 7, 7 PM - Over the Hump H3

Start Location - End of Cockpit Point Rd, Dumfries, VA

Many wankers braved the smoke from Canada to run a trail in Dumfries, VA, even if it was shortened by a Ranger. There was plenty of woods, hills, and mud. We lost a couple finishers last night, but Nub joined the pack.

21 finishers

2.4 miles

Total TdH miles - 30.4

Thursday Night, June 8, 7 PM - Everyday is Wednesday H3

Start Location - Dupont Circle, Washington DC

Everyday is Wednesday "ran" us on the shortest trail of the year due to the poor air quality. The Canadian wildfires cut this one short to only 0.4 miles. At only $1, it's also the cheapest trail of the year. Somehow, the hares still managed to fit the most stairs on their trail to date. One more finisher dropped out.

20 finishers

0.4 miles

Total TdH miles - 30.8

Friday Night, June 9, 8 PM - Charm City H3

Saturday Morning, June 10, 10 AM - Smutty Crab H3

Start Location - Chapel Point State Park, Chapel Point Rd, Port Tobacco, MD

SMUTTy Crab H3 currently holds the Gispert Cup for trail of the year last year! It appears that they have it locked up in Tiny Two Stroke's basement. Will they retain the cup by getting voted Trail of the Year this year? We visited a cemetery named for the patron saint of hashers, St. Ignatius.

20 finishers

2.6 miles

Saturday Afternoon, June 10, 4 PM - Fredericksburg Urban(ish) H3

Start Location - Staffordboro Commuter Lot, 163 Staffordboro Blvd, Stafford, VA 22556

20 finishers

Sunday Morning, June 11, 10 AM - Hangover H3

Start Location - Potomac Yard Metro, Alexandria, VA

Hangover's trail ran us around the new Amazon campus in Arlington, VA. We went through the Dainger Zone on Daingerfield Island. Those that took a left at the whichy way had to cut through the thickest shiggy of the week.

Total TdH miles - 49.1

Sunday Afternoon, June 11, 3 PM - Baltimore-Annapolis H3

Start Location - Tucker Road Ice Rink, 1770 Tucker Rd, Ft Washington, MD 20744

GPS brought the shiggy for the second time this week for Baltimore-Annapolis. Eagles had to take a leap of faith. There was a monster of a hill to climb, but the beer and the views made it worth the effort.

20 finishers

5.8 miles

Total TdH miles - 54.9
