Building

To build this version of the switch decoder, the following is needed:

• Printed Circuit Boards. Costs per board range, depending on the PCB supplier and the number of boards needed, between 45 Euro (if just a single PCB is needed) to 6 Euro (if many PCBs are needed).
• Components. Costs of the components range between 6 to 12 Euro per board (depending on the component supplier and the number of boards needed).
• Soldering. The components should be soldered on the PCB(s).
• Programming. The (compiled) software should be downloaded to the micro-controller.

The download section contains Eagle files for the PCB layout (and schema) as well as the sources for the software.
