Our Clan is named after a series of books called The Chronicles of Narnia, by C. S. Lewis. A main character in the series is a lion named Aslan. This is why our battle cry is "For Narnia and for Aslan!" 🦁
Please carefully read through this entire website (see navigation at top) to understand how our clan works, what you can expect from us, and what we will expect from you!
If you are unwilling to read and follow the Clan Guide or to support its enforcement by leadership in the clan, please do not join our clan.
Although a warning is often given, a policy being in this Clan Guide (website) is warning enough, as every member is expected to read and follow it. There are required guidelines on each page of this Clan Guide. So, please read it thoroughly.
Also, if you ask a question in Clan Chat that is answered on this website, expect to be told "Read the Clan Guide!" We went to the trouble of creating this site, so that we wouldn't have to explain all of this information in Clan Chat, which is very cumbersome. So, thanks for taking the time to read it! 😃
To be considered for acceptance into the clan a player must...
type and understand English well, regardless of nationality
not have a "rushed" base (explained below)
have a non-offensive name (to be determined by leader/co-leaders)
agree to follow and support this Clan Guide
Our clan has been around in Clash of Clans since 2014. We have some great members, and we're always happy to welcome new ones.
We've had members from all over the world (including Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, the UK, and the United States, among other places) and in all stages of life.
While we are tight as a clan, we welcome new members who share our core values and "get" what we are about (following the Clan Guide!) 😂
We're not a "hardcore" War Clan that berates or kicks people who don't always earn three stars from every attack. But we do expect you to follow all of the instructions on Clan Games, Clan Wars, and Clan War Leagues in this guide.
We war pretty much all the time, and we will give you advice on how we think you can improve your attacks when we think it might help. We also welcome advice from you!
One thing that binds our leaders together is a common desire to preserve our clan and to serve our fellow clan members. That's why we have this Clan Guide. The guidelines here help our clan run smoothly for everyone. We hold you to a high standard, but we're also glad to help however we can.
We enjoy having fun and joking around. We're friendly, encouraging, and supportive. At the same time, if someone consistently doesn't follow this Clan Guide, is unreliable, promotes drama, regularly challenges leadership decisions, and/or is often negative, or otherwise causes trouble, we will kick them.
LEADER'S PREROGATIVE: The Clan Leader reserves the right to kick any member for any reason (or even for no given reason) at any time. Period.
While he doesn't use this authority lightly or often, it is the leader's right to do this, and the game is designed to support it. The leader is under no obligation to explain or defend his decision (though he usually does explain, at least briefly, attempting to keep it as drama-free as possible). Put simply, there are times when he must rely upon his own judgment in a matter, based on experience, and it may not be convenient or practical to explain all the factors involved to everyone. This is when it's important to remember: this is a game and being kicked is not a judgment on a person, but simply on whether the leader(s) feel the player is a good fit for this particular clan.
By joining our clan, you are agreeing to support this right and to not continue to argue, aggressively question, or otherwise undermine the leader's decisions, especially when he says the matter is closed. If you disagree with this, please do not join Narnia.
Alternate Accounts: The Leader and Co-Leaders have alternate accounts that allow them to send multiple clan mails, when needed. So don't be fooled into thinking we have lots of Co-Leaders. We currently have around three.
In Narnia, "Co-Leader" (CO) is a true position of leadership - an extension of the Leader. As such, he/she may only be appointed by the Clan Leader.
There cannot be many Co-Leaders, because they would lose their significance. This also would make it easy for someone to join and potentially damage the clan. Don't ask or expect to become a CO. No one earns CO. And it's not something we owe you. A CO is selected by the Leader when the clan needs another CO.
When needed, the Leader selects Co-Leaders whom he feels truly help him lead the clan and who represent him. These are people he has grown to trust over time, and who know him well enough to be able to judge what he is likely to say or do in most clan situations. They help to protect the clan, and encourage members to be active and follow the Clan Guide. If necessary, they can even enforce the Clan Guide by demoting and kicking.
Co-Leaders are expected to set a good example for others and fulfill all the expectations of an Elder, as well.
A Note for Co-Leaders:
Please do not change/edit the Clan Settings, including Description, Shield, and Invite/Open Status. If you have suggestions, talk to the Leader.
Due to the high level of status granted to Co-Leaders in Narnia, the rank of Elder also has more status than usual. In fact, it is what most clans would consider a Co-Leader! Elders are promoted by the Leader, usually in consultation with the Co-Leaders.
Elders are expected to follow the minimum entry requirements explained above and any other guidance provided by the Leader and/or COs when deciding whether to accept or reject requests to join the clan, including making sure the requester is not rushed or has a war timer (left previous clan while in war).
Kicking is only done by the Leader/Co-Leaders, not Elders, unless a member is using offensive language, verbally attacking others, or causing drama or trouble.
The following requirements should be met before promotion to Elder, and maintained in order to keep that rank...
"What can I do to help myself become an Elder?"
Don't ask to be promoted to Elder.
Become an Expert on this Clan Guide: If you're asking questions that are in the Clan Guide, then you're not ready to be an Elder. Elders know and follow this website. This is pretty obvious. If you want to be a leader, then...
Act like a leader: Serve others, be kind, and encourage. Have fun and be active. Donate. Follow our War Strategy. Be reliable and consistent. Don't complain. Answer questions and encourage all members to follow our Clan Guide (www.TinyURL.com/NarniaClan). Recruit good potential members. Most of all, be supportive of clan decisions and set a good example for others.
Rushing is upgrading your Home Village Town Hall before upgrading everything you can to the maximum level possible at your current level (including walls).
Rushers are generally a drain on the clan, because they cause the clan to be matched with harder opponents, resulting in lost wars.
In certain cases, when it benefits the clan, a limited form of rushing may be approved, but only by the Leader. Permission must be granted beforehand.
Builder Base does not currently have a ban on rushing, only the Home Village does. However, this may change in the future, if Supercell adds clan wars or some other feature to Builder Bases. In fact, at the moment, we actually encourage members to rush their Builder Base to BH 9 and to complete all of the upgrades required to earn O.T.T.O., which allows your Master Builder to visit your Home Village as a 6th Builder!
(COs and Elders) Before accepting a request to join the clan, be sure to check to see whether the requestor is rushed. Use either the COC Wiki on Fandom (clashofclans.fandom.com) or the free app "Guide for Clash of Clans" for Apple iOS and Google Play to identify the maximum levels of defensive and offensive items at the TH-level immediately below their current TH, and then ensure they are at least at those levels.
Remember: They must always have everything upgraded to at least the maximum level possible at the previous Town Hall level. That is the minimum level required for admission to the clan.
Reference:
Clan Wars are a big deal to us. We even have an entire page devoted to them. Here are some of the expectations we have for war participants. Not following any of these can get a member kicked from the clan:
Follow our War Strategy (who you are supposed to attack and when)
Always use both attacks in wars
If you are one of the top two players in the war, you are expected to work together to ensure all war bases (war clan castles) are filled with the strongest troops possible.
See the Clan Wars page for further details on what's required.
If you are new to Clan Games, check out this Clan Games Overview on the Clash of Clans Wiki website before reading our Narnia-specific info below. Clan Games unlock at TH 6.
You have an important choice with two options:
Do not complete any challenges, earn 0 points, and receive no rewards
OR
Earn at least 1,000 points.
Note: This minimum only applies to a member's primary account, not his or her alternate accounts.
The minimum is in place to avoid members completing just a few challenges and getting all the rewards, while others do all the hard work of maxing their points. Expect to be kicked if you participate and earn fewer than 1,000 points. ("I'm busy" isn't an excuse. If you're busy, don't complete any challenges.)
Earning the maximum number of points possible for an individual member with all your accounts is strongly encouraged so that the clan can reach the highest tier and receive the best rewards available.
Also, if you earn the maximum points possible, you get to select a bonus reward from any reward tier we have unlocked at the end of the games!
Don't "hog" the high-point challenges. Challenges cycle. So, if you accept one and take days to complete it, that keeps others from getting that challenge. We need all the points we can get. So, complete your challenges quickly, whenever possible.
We are a family-friendly clan. So we keep our clan chat clear of language and topics that are inappropriate for those under 18. That includes swearing, cursing, profanity, or whatever you want to call it. Using such language is not allowed and will result in being kicked with extreme prejudice.
If you're the type who needs examples, here are some specifics:
No to these and similar words: sh*t, f*ck, b*tch, d*mn, hell, etc.
Using "Jesus" or "Christ" or "God" as a swear word or curse.
Explicit sexual language or terminology and any racist or sexist terms.
This includes text abbreviations, like OMFG and WTF. "OMG" ("oh, my gosh!") is fine.
No offensive emojis, like the middle-finger emoji, etc.
If you're in doubt about something, just don't say it.
Harassment and bullying are not tolerated.
Political Topics: Likewise, please avoid political discussions and other topics that are extremely divisive.
We strive to be a "safe" clan. We may ask your country, age, and gender/pronouns to make conversation easier. However, please do not ask for or share personally-identifiable information in our clan. This includes: your real full name, the city where you live, the business where you or your parents work, etc. It's too easy for someone to find your location with this information. Not everyone on the Internet is safe, this includes online games! Safety first!
A "hopper" is someone who is continually coming and going from the clan. Maybe they are looking for a better clan. Maybe they are checking out a friend's clan. Whatever the reason, it's an indication they are not loyal and satisfied with where they are. Also, it can be a problem when the clan needs them for wars, clan games, donations, etc.
Note: Leaving in the middle of a war leaves the clan with attacks it cannot use. It sets the entire clan up to lose the war, wasting every member's time and resources (clan castles, war bases, and attacks). This is one of the worst things you can do. Do it here and you will be banned.
If you are inactive in Narnia for too long, we will kick you, as we want members who are contributing to the clan. If you're taking a vacation, etc., then let the Leader/Co-Leaders know in chat. We understand. But just being inactive won't cut it. ["Too Long" is defined as "a subjective period of time as determined by your robot overlords."] Here is what we mean by active:
Donating and Requesting Troops
Interacting with others in Chat
Opting-in for Clan Wars (at least semi-regularly)
Earning at least 1,000 points in Clan Games (see above)
Clan Mail and Clan Chat are the two main ways the Leader and Co-Leaders communicate with the clan, in the game. Therefore, every member is expected to read Clan Mails in a timely fashion, and to read the Chat History when he or she gets on Clash. This doesn't take long, and it keeps leaders from having to explain things repeatedly. If we send a Clan Mail, you're expected to know the information in it. We suggest you turn on your Clan Mail notifications.
IMPORTANT: Every troop you donate is automatically upgraded two levels for the receiver (and the same is true for every troop we donate to you)! That's one of the perks of being part of a Level 10+ Clan! (Note: As a Level 5-9 Clan, Archenland's donations are upgraded one level at this time.)
In order for the donation ecosystem of a clan to work, members need to both donate and request on a regular basis. In general, as long as you're being generous in your donations and also requesting so others can donate, you'll be fine. Balance is the key.
If you are "cooking" for a request, be sure to say so in the chat. And be specific. If there are three requests above you, don't just say "cooking." Tell us which one(s) you are cooking for. And if you say you're cooking something, fill it as soon as possible - don't make the person wait, while you go to dinner.
Check to see if someone has said they are cooking before you fill a request. Don't make us waste time and elixir. 😡
Make sure your request is clear and specific. If you're picky about the exact troops you want, then use the features of the request donations tool to allow only those troops. You can even check the box to allow only maximum-levels of those troops and spells.
But be careful. By limiting the donations to specific troops/levels, you limit who can donate to you. Many members cannot donate maximum troops and those who can are not always donating when you may need them. On the other hand, if you're not specific, then don't get upset with what you get.
Note: We know that it's harder for lower-level members to donate, because everyone wants maxed-level troops. If you would like to help lower-level players who need to donate, you can put the word "anything" in your request and clear any limitations you've set up in your requests template to open it up. But be sure you're truly happy with anything. You can also ask for specific troops and say "any level."
If your general raid requests aren't being filled, ask yourself if you're requesting expensive dark elixir troops. That's fine for war attacks, but few people want to waste their valuable dark elixir donating repeatedly to others for loot raids/trophy pushing.
War Donations: Donations for Clan Wars are a different matter in some ways. See the Clan Wars page for details.
Honesty and Transparency: We expect our members to tell the truth and to be honest about the names of their alternate accounts, as being deceptive undermines trust.
No Drama: Drama is when a person greatly exaggerates the importance of benign or relatively insignificant events (like disagreements in a game), demands to know everything and to express their opinion on everything (especially when it has nothing to do with them), and usually includes the person attempting to drag other people into their dramatic state as a way of gaining attention, making themselves feel important, or giving them an excuse to express meaningless outrage.
Bottom Line: We just want to play Clash in a supportive environment with people we can rely on to do their part and without negativity and drama. If you're a drama king/queen, please take it elsewhere.
Archenland: This is a second clan (Level 5+) that is held in reserve for Narnia's use, as determined by Narnia's Leadership. In the past, it functioned as a "feeder" clan for Narnia. Members TH 9 and lower stayed in Archenland until they reached TH 10 and had also shown themselves to be a good fit for Narnia. Archenland provided more training and leadership opportunities for our lower TH members. It was a great experience. But it takes a lot of time and effort from Narnia leaders to run it properly. Archenland is currently in hibernation, and there are no plans to relaunch it in the near future.
Many of our clan members have names taken from the Chronicles of Narnia series (by C. S. Lewis). If you'd like to learn more about any names in particular, check out this list of characters and read the books!
if you'd like to change your name to a Narnian name, please check with the Leader first to be sure it is spelled correctly and isn't already taken in either Narnia or its (sometimes active) feeder clan, Archenland. We can't have more than one member with the same name.
No one in our clan can have the name "Aslan" [the Great Lion] or "The Emperor Beyond the Sea," out of respect for who they represent in the books. "White Witch," "Jadis," and "Tash" are also off limits, as they are evil.
The Guide for Clash of Clans is a Free App for Apple iOS and Google Play. It has all kinds of information about troops, buildings, attack strategies, base layouts, etc. We highly recommend it!
Double-check though, because not everything may be up to date. We aren't responsible for any errors.
Two of the best Clash web resources to bookmark:
Clash of Clans Guide: https://coc.guide has all the basic info you need about objects in the game (troops, buildings, heroes, etc.)
COC Wiki on Fandom: clashofclans.fandom.com has basic info, but it also has info about gameplay. It's awesome.

Clan War League (CWL) is about to begin, and our first attack will be Friday evening (eastern time) 4/2/21. Everyone request your war troops the day before and keep them ready for your attacks.
Those at the bottom (15, 14, 13, ...8) need to be ready to attack immediately when each CWL attack day begins, so we can keep things moving. If you wait too long, others will take the base you should be attacking and you'll have nothing (and will probably not be included in future wars).
Why do lower players have to attack first?
Because if you fail to earn at least two stars, a higher player may earn more stars by cleaning up your base rather than wasting their attack against a TH that's far higher than theirs. Remember, we only get one attack in each war in CWL, unlike in regular Clan Wars.
