Monday Night Meditation: This vipassana meditation & study group, led by Tony Bernhard, is most suitable for experienced meditators & established practitioners.


The group meets from 7:15 - 9:00 p.m. at the Davis Meeting House, 345 L St. (corner of 4th & L).


Tony Bernhard is one of Spirit Rock's Community Dharma Leaders. He sits on the board of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies and on the Spirit Rock Program Committee  and teaches regularly throughout the Bay Area.

Tuesday Night Meditation: Bird Path Zen Community of Davis meets 6:30 - 8:30 at the Davis Meeting House, 345 L St. (corner of 4th & L)., and also meets informally for study groups and social events. 


The style of practice is patterned after that of the Diamond Sangha in Hawai'i and one of its affiliates, the Ring of Bone Zendo located near Nevada City. This style of Zen Buddhist practice has its roots in both the Rinzai and Soto schools. Although this describes the group's primary affinities, the doors are open to all.

Thursday Night Meditation: Zen Heart Sangha meets for seated meditation, walking meditation, and dharma discussion on Thursday evenings in Davis. All levels of meditation experience welcome.
