About my career


I did my undergraduate studies in philosophy at the University of Turin (Italy). I graduated from the University of Turin with a thesis on the Knowability Paradox under the supervision of Prof. Diego Marconi.

In February 2007 I started a PhD at the University of Padua on the notion of knowability under the supervision of Prof. Massimiliano Carrara.

In May 2008 I started a PhD at the University of Geneva on the normativity of belief under the supervsion of Prof. Pascal Engel. I passed the Viva in June 2012. For more informations on my thesis go here.

I’ve been recipient of a junior research scholarship founded by the Swiss National Foundation until August 2012, for a period of study at the University of Edinburgh.

I've been a post-doctoral researcher in Philosophy at the University of Geneva (2013-2016).

I have been a postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the University of Southampton (from March 2016 to September 2017) and recipient of a three-year (2016-2019) Advanced Postdoc.Mobility grant from the Swiss National Research Foundation.



I was a postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the King's College London (from October 2017 to 2018).



I am currently an associate professor (Tenure, Young Professor) within the Hundred Talents Program at Zhejiang University, in the beautiful city of Hangzhou (China).



Since 2020 I am a Research Associate at the Department of Philosophy, University of Johannesburg (until 2023).
