國內首創科學平台 驗證美妝保養品功效
美容保養品市場廣大，但真的都有業者宣稱的功效嗎？國際知名品牌，雖然有自己的實驗室，卻很少公開實驗結果，行政院國家科學委員會產學小聯盟首波補助名單中，就要協助成立國內首創「美容化粧品跨領域核心技術平台聯盟」，協助業者測試產品性能與安全評估，以科學根據告訴消費者，而非單靠行銷包裝。
提到美容、保養品，讓女性幾乎趨之若鶩，根據國際貿易局統計資料，2011年我國化妝保養產品進口為新台幣223.4億元，出口為85.6億元，商機無限，但是這些美妝保養品，真的都有業者所標榜的功效嗎？國科會公布產學小聯盟首波的補助名單中，其中亮點計畫之一就是高雄醫學大學香粧品學系王惠民提出的「美容化粧品跨領域核心技術平台聯盟」，將在3年內建置完成國內第一個美粧產品人體試驗平台，協助業者測試產品性能與安全，用科學實驗報告，明確告訴消費者成分與效果！這平台將邀請國內相關研究傑出學者，結合跨領域專長，提供體外、動物、人體試驗的功能安全性評估，及劑型與微生物測試等，幫助美粧品業者鑑定產品穩定、安全、抗氧化、抗發炎、美白、抗黑色素沉澱、抑制皮膚癌及皮膚組織修復等功效，以細胞、動物及人體實驗得到證實。(圖文來源 : 國立教育廣播電台專訪資料)
