Hansen Reunion
I thank you for the invitation to The Hansen Reunion.
I would love to come but no way can I do so this year and I know I owe Lora a letter. You will have to excuse my writting. I spent most of my March, April, May and June in and out of the hospital--My left hip broke I got along fine. But I lost my Potasium or what the Dr said I lost my Electric lites and my Potazam whatever those things in ones body. I guess they keep the heart pumping. I broke my hip March 5 one of thhose deals the bone breaks without a waring--but at 91 years old one can expect that well I couldn't get my Potazam etc to work.
I'd gain my strength and than lose it again so I spent from March 5 to Aug most the time in the hospital not really knowing any thing.
So with that my son & his wife moved in with me past time since I've been home. They get my meals. My daughter in law takes care of me. I'm setting the table and do a few odd jobs but still weak. Than last week my son had to have gall bladder sugery. He did mow the lawn and things like that back he took has to go easy my daughter in law also takes care of us 2 and now has gone back to work at Gussey's store
I missed the Schlote reunion this year. It looks so hot and with Dennis just having surgery I did not feel up to going. I guess many didn't get there. The older ones of us can't take that heat.
Hope many of you Bros and Sisters get to get together. I'll try and write Laura when I feel up to it.
