My Friend....Jack Jennings
This site is dedicated to my good friend, JJ. For those who don't know JJ, he can simply be described as a guy with a heart bigger than his body. Below are a number of pictures of JJ.....

You will notice that he has a great head of hair for a guy pushing the downhill side of a half century. Born in the great state of Washington, he worked for Ringling Bros. as a clown in his earlier days. Always the entrepreneur, he learned how to run his own businesses to survive over the years, despite many obstacles that impede his life. While his heart may be big, his body has been a major challenge, having suffered from cerebral palsy since birth.
That doesn't stop JJ though....it merely gives him a few hurdles to clear! JJ is self-employed, selling many things door to door, such as particular food items and health supplements. Over the years he has dabbled with numerous marketing plans, such as Amway, Watkins and such. Ultimately though he has found that offering specialized products to his customers serves them better.
In his younger days, he maintained a considerably sized vending machine route, but his legs don't allow for such challenges nowadays, and the vending machines he has left are in storage. Always looking for new opportunities though, he continues to think of new ventures to start. A few years ago, he launched a candle making factory. Strenuous hours and physical demands exceeded his ability to keep up the furious pace however, and he found it necessary to redirect his efforts to a less physically active lifestyle.
One thing that can be said about JJ, he is always willing to help a friend. And many friends he does have, many whom are in need of his advice and abilities. That isn't to say JJ's friends always take his advice though....many times they ignore JJ's wisdom to their own detriment. For some reason, many people just don't want to learn from their peers, but rather to their detriment end up learning the hard way. JJ knows that is a tough way to learn though, as he has traveled that road many times himself.
JJ's life has included a couple marriages, a couple kids and a strong faith in the Lord. When others have neglected him, Jesus has always been at his side as his constant companion and Elder Brother. When the night is darkest, the Lord has led JJ through the trials and tribulations of life, guiding his every footstep. That's not to say JJ has not faltered now and then, though....JJ is the most human guy a person can meet.
What makes JJ different is his willingness and self-determination to help others in need. If JJ had only one cracker in his pocket, and hadn't eaten for a day or so....he'd still give it to somebody needier than himself. Selfishness and greed just don't inhabit JJ's realm.
The bottom line is that if YOU need a friend, JJ is the one you can count on to be there when you need him. When the world deserts you, JJ will hold your hand and guide you only as he can, since he has probably previously walked the path you are now treading and wants you to avoid the pain he has suffered. JJ best personifies the old adage....A friend in need is a friend indeed!

JJ passed away about a dozen years after these photos were taken. His website and many memories remain of what a good guy he was to many people......his intent was to make people happy!!! He will always be remembered as a friend of those who struggled through life.
