We here at Dave's Computer Repair do NOT accept any responsibility for data loss under any circumstances when utilizing our services; please be a responsible digital citizen & backup your data regularly to your own local storage media [optical disks, flash drives, external HDDs] or cloud services [Dropbox, Google drive, etc].
If we here at Dave's computer repair are asked to attempt a salvage on un-backed up data from a drive[s], we will NOT be responsible in any way shape or form for data loss that occurs or potentially occurs.
We here at Dave's computer repair DO NOT guarantee that data is recoverable in all circumstances; but in a case of that nature where data is unrecoverable we will not charge the customer for the data recovery attempt. you will also be given a series of alternative options to best suit your case at that point in time to best serve you as our customer.

******As of 09/01/2016 I am no longer an employee of Worldwide Tech Services [aka: WWTS] (formerly: QLX) and I DO NOT have any lingering agreements with them that would impede my ability to render repairs legality wise (ex: a non-compete). However, since I am natively aware of the inner-workings of many OEM's warranty policies, if your machine is under a warranty & the serial is confirmed valid when ran inside the OEM's internal lookup system, then your machine may have to be serviced specifically by a QLX or UNY on-site service personnel or mailed into a depot unless I am given over-ride authorization to receive the warranty replacement part and complete the repair myself. in a case of this nature I will give you copies of the submission paperwork to the OEM so you have records and are aware of what is going on.******

Software related work depending on depth (ex: OS [re]-Install could be considered conflicting [depending upon specific circumstance] but installing classic shell for ease of use/accessibility reasons for the end user would be allowed), or instructional/tutorial related services on above mentioned equipment is applicable unless conflict arises in select circumstances to the above mentioned.
BY UTILIZING OR SOLICITING ANY OF DAVE'S COMPUTER REPAIR'S SERVICES YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR CONSENT OF AGREEMENT TO THESE POLICIES.
