The Second Euro-regional Conference DANUBIUS DESIGN is a result of the initiative arising from Mr. George Teodorescu to see to life a new regional organization that would integrate large scope of designer activities in the Central and Eastern Europe with an aim to enhance understanding, exchange of creative experience and innovations, as well as existing tradition.

2nd Danubius Design Conference_FOLLOW UP - REPORT
The Belgrade Conference hosted 155 distinguished designers, architects, theoreticians, and professionals, as well as the student representatives from 12 countries, who contributed with their lectures, research papers and discussions that put new light on local and regional traditions, points of view, current affairs and tendencies that form daily designer reality. Seven journalists reported from to conference. The general conclusion is that the unification of INNOVATION AND TRADITION reveals immense potential for economic and cultural development, understanding and regional integration with a goal to achieve prosperous, diverse and more humane living for all.
