The Dances

• Waltz - This is a dramatically elegant dance and one of my favorites. Its time signature is 3/4.

• Foxtrot - There are slow, but also quick versions of the Foxtrot. Its time signature is 4/4.

• Tango - The Tango has varrying styles bu is one of the easiest dances to learn. Its time signature is 4/4.

• Samba - Is danced to Brazillion Latin music with a strong down beat. Its time signature is 2/4.

• Mambo - Is danced to high tempo latin music. Its time signature is 4/4.

• Merengue - Is a Latin America dance with a 2/4 time signature.

• Salsa - Is danced to a high tempo Latin style music. Its time signature is 4/4.

• Rumba - Is danced to Latin style music. It's time signature is 4/4.

• Cha Cha - Latin American Dance of Cuban origin. Its time signature is 4/4. 

• Swing - East & West Coast Swing are both danced to a 4/4 time signature.

• Two-step - Is a Country Western dance. Its time signature is also 4/4.
