Is Dance Me to the Ball a Dance Studio?

* Dance Me to the Ball is not currently a Dance Studio. We ARE weighing the option of opening a studio in the future & continuing our in home private lessons -vs- remaining simply for what we first founded our business on, which is in home private lessons for the privacy and convenience of our clients.

Where do the lessons take place?

* Our lessons are provided in your own private residence or can also be provided at another location agreed upon between you our client and our management

What ages do we teach?

* From the point where your child can understand instruction to adult

What are our hours?

* 9am - 9pm, Monday - Saturday

How long does it take for someone to return my call, if when I called, no one answered?

* We often get busy with other clients, please allow us a couple of hours to return your phone call. Always leave a name, phone number, and the best time to reach you. If you called after 8pm, please leave a message stating the latest you want to receive a callback.

How long does it take to hear back from an email?

* Emails may not be read until the end of the day, depending on how busy the day is. Don't worry if we don't respond the same day. We will always respond by the following day. 

Will we extend our hours for a special event, such as a birthday or wedding, are there any additional charges, and what is the purpose of the charges?

* We do extend our hours for special occassions, such as birthdays, weddings, or other parties. The latest that we may extend the hours to is 12pm. On these occassions, there will be a $15 per hour fee for any hours passed 9pm. This fee is simply to accommodate the instructor, as well as the manager who must ensure that the instructor's job was successful. 

Is there a trip fee?

* There is no trip fee for clients who reside in our working radius. To see if your home resides in our working radius, check out our servicing area map here

What dance lessons do we offer?

* We offer Country Western Dance lessons including line dancing, Waltz, Tango, Cha cha, Swing, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Mambo, Merengue, and Foxtrot. We may offer more when you as time passes. Please ask an employee, if you wish to take other dance lessons not listed.

Are there any discounts or coupons online?

* You can find discounts or specials on our Current Pricing and/or Specials page here. Periodically we put coupons on Yelp, Facebook, and or Twitter. Click on each link to check them out and don't forget to like us or follow us!  

Do prices include taxes?

* All prices include taxes! 

Do you need special shoes?

* No special shoes are required. It is up to you to determine what you are comfortable wearing for your lessons.

How large of an area is required for the instruction?

* We do need an area of at least 8 ft X 8 ft for instruction. This is a minimum. If you do not have an area sufficient, please let your instructor know, so that we can plan for the best place for your instruction.

Do you have to have wood floors?

* You do not have to have wood flooring. This is only practice, learning the steps, posture, etc. You will have the opportunity to engage dancing on a wooden floor when you take your lessons to the next level.

How long will it take to learn how to dance?

* This depends on what level you're trying to reach, but everyone can learn to dance fairly quick.

Is it difficult?

* It is only as difficult as you allow it to be, with the exception to the exercise you will get practicing. Never practice for too long and listen to your body when it says to slow down. Other than that, try to make sure there will be limited interruptions during your lessons, focus, and have fun! 

What does the introductory class entail?

* The introductory class is simply get to know you, assess what level you are at through simple dance tests, talk about what level you would like to reach, and create a plan specifically for you.

Do you have to have a partner?

* A partner is not required at any point during your lessons. Our instructors are trained to instruct the male and female steps, posture, etc.
