Umpire Clinic April 12, 2014
Saturday, April 12 8:30am - 8pm Pan-American Badminton Certified Referee & Umpire Venues: Reverchon Recreation Center - Dallas, TX (morning to early afternoon) and MATRIX at Prestonwood Tower/MATRIX - Dallas, TX (afternoon to evening) This clinic is open to all badminton enthusiasts. The last time the clinic was held in our region was in 2010!!! At the Clinic, the instructor will go over the official rules of the game, how to umpire and keep score in the classroom. He will also observe the umpires in action (full on court training with open play games at available club matches). There will be a short Q&A time and at the end of the clinic, the instructor will administer the certification exam (materials, booklet will be provided prior to exam) This is a rare opportunity in our area, the last clinic held in Dallas produced numerous certified umpires for our region was held in 2010!!! We hope you consider becoming trained and certified umpires; it’s really a rare and great opportunity and best of all you'll get the best seats in the house for all those exciting elite badminton matches!!
