[Mar. 2024] Grant: Dr. Dahai Qi was awarded with NOVA – FRQNT-NSERC PROGRAM for junior researchers program. Wildfire-Resilient Building Ventilation System. Co-applicants: Dr. Liangzhu (Leon) Wang (Concordia University), Dr. Hachimi Fellouah (University of Sherbrooke), and Dr. Lexuan Zhong (University of Alberta).
[Feb. 2023] The PhD student, Monireh Aram, has successfully passed her doctoral defense on Feb.15, 2023. Her thesis title is Study of smoke spread during building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) double skin façade (DSF) fire based on small-scale helium tests and simulations. Congratulations to Dr. Monireh Aram!!!
[Dec. 2022] The PhD student, Xin Zhang, has successfully passed his doctoral defense on Dec.15, 2022. His thesis title is Investigation of smoke movement induced from solar roof fires. Congratulations to Dr. Xin Zhang!!!

[Nov. 2021] The PhD student, Haohan Sha, has successfully passed his doctoral defense on Nov.4, 2021. His thesis title is Study of mechanical ventilative cooling and its contribution to airborne transmission control in high-rise buildings. Congratulations to Dr. Haohan Sha!!!
[Aug. 2021] The student, Haohan Sha's paper, Optimal control of high-rise building mechanical ventilation system for achieving low risk of COVID-19 transmission and ventilative cooling has been accepted by the Journal of Sustainable Cities and Society.

[Jun. 2020] International meeting: Dr. Dahai Qi joined the IEA EBC Annex 80 (Resilient cooling) - Subtask Leader Web Meeting and served as subtask C (field studies) leader.
