Reset Virgin media hub!
Pull out all network cables except the PC (according to an engineer, this is so when the hub reboots and contacts virgin, it is from just the one device instead of being split between many).
Stick a pin in the little hole on the opposite side to the 3 lights at the front of the hub for roughly 30 seconds.
When hub starts working again, reset passwords and any settings as they will revert to default.
