There's a lot to be excited about when it comes to language and learning science! I loved connecting with students in the classroom, and now I communicate with language enthusiasts around the world, reaching them in their own homes and classrooms, from the palm of their hands.
Teaching learners and the general public about language, linguistics, and language science is an important component of my work, and it satisfies the teacher in me, too!
I regularly contribute to the Duolingo blog and I manage the publishing of our blog posts related to language and learning. Here you can find lots of tips, tricks, ideas, and activities for learners of all languages and levels, and many of my posts provide accessible information about the science behind learning.
I also engage with language enthusiasts using social media, including by hosting a Reddit AMA, a livestreamed Q&A on Twitch, and "Office Hours" on Facebook Live.
