Chairperson: Valarie Cravens

Stellar Student recognition happens three times during the school year. Students will be nominated by their academy teachers. The main criteria is based upon the student displaying one or more of the following characteristics:

• Has shown marked improvement in grades, attendance, and/or behavior
• Actively and consistently exceeds expectations
• Demonstrates academic achievement in the face of adversity or hardship
• Exhibits good citizenship with integrity and honesty
• Inspires others with a passion for learning and hard work

There are a great number of students who are doing incredible things here at Central York High School. All those selected may attend an award ceremony and have their families invited. They will receive a gift from the PTO and recognition by the school. As always, teachers are invited to attend the ceremony, followed by cake and punch. Below are the names of the students who were honored at prior ceremonies.
