If you have a question not answered here, the first place to turn is your den leader. You can also e-mail pack95admin@gmail.com.

How much does a year of Scouting cost?

When you first join Scout on BeAScout.org, there is a $25 one time registration fee, $72 Youth Member fee, $48 Youth Adventure Card Fee (this supports our local campsites and gets us access for reduced or no cost), and an optional $12 Scouts Life magazine subscription. The Scout year is for 12 months and is not prorated. Thus, whenever you first join, you will renew the following year on your anniversary.

For returning Scouts, there is a $100 Pack fee, payable by check to Pack 95 in August or September. Scout families are expected to sell popcorn to cover additional Pack fees. If a family is unable to sell at least $300 in popcorn (don't worry, we will help you!!), there is an additional $100 fee due in November/December.

What do I need to buy for a uniform?

You can get the details of what is needed here.

Scout handbook will be provided to you by your den leader.

Kindergarten: Lion tee shirt, belt  hat optional - you do not need a scout shirt or neckerchief.

Where can I buy uniforms?

There is a list of places to buy uniforms, both physical stores and web sites, on our Scouting Links page.

Members of our Pack often go to Woburn or Lancaster Scout Stores.

What role do parents play?

Parents may join as uniformed leaders, take one of the many volunteer positions that help the Pack run, coordinate events, or just help as needed. Unlike many activities our children participate in, Cub Scouts is exclusively parent and volunteer run. This is not a drop off activity, but one in which you as a parent participate in your child's learning, development as well as fun!   Children don’t join Cub Scouts; Families join Cub Scouts! There is no Fee for adult volunteers, the Pack pays the Adult Member Fee.

How will I know what is going on in the Pack?

Good communication is critical and we ensure it through a variety of mechanisms. Official emails will go out from pack95admin or the other leaders. Upcoming events and updates will be posted on our Facebook page. Cub Scout Pack 95

Is there a mailing list?

Yes, there is a mailing list for the entire pack and also one for each individual den. Getting on the mailing lists requires joining the pack and den "Google Group". Go to About Google Groups to learn about these groups and how to join them.

Where can I find a calendar of events?

Your best bet is to bookmark the Pack 95 Home page, which has the pack calendar (subscribe to get meetings automatically!) and some useful links. For den events you need to check with your den leader.

Will I get reminders for meetings and outings?

All scout events are on the pack calendar. Go to Calendar Reminders to learn how to get notifications and reminders for these.

When and where does the pack meet?

The pack generally meets at the Westford Sportsmen's Club (map) in the afternoon one Sunday each month. You should always check the pack calendar for any particular month, however.
