WHAT'S NEWS! 

July 26, 2023: Three papers from LV group members were accepted by ACM MM 2023. Congrats to my postgraduate students: Bo Wang and Huan Zheng, and my supervised undergraduate student: Baiang Li. 

June 16, 2023: Two supervised master students received "Anhui Provincial Outstanding Master Graduate Award" (安徽省优秀硕士毕业生). Congrats to Huan Zheng and Yangcheng Gao. 

Jan 21, 2023: One paper was accepted by ICLR 2023. Congrats to Mingbo. 

Dec 31, 2022: In this year, we got 21 papers accepted, including 2 CVPR, 1 NeurIPS, 6 ACM MM, 2 ICDM, 1 CIKM, 1 TMLR, 1 IEEE TCSVT, 2 IEEE TMM, 2 IEEE TNNLS, 1 IEEE SMC: Systems, 1 Neural Networks and 1 KAIS.  

Dec 16, 2022: Three of my supervised postgraduate students are recognized as "Anhui Provincial Postgraduate Innovation Star" (安徽省研究生“创新之星”). Congrats to Yanyan Wei, Suiyi Zhao and Huan Zheng. 

Oct 12, 2022: I am pleased to accept the invitation to be an Associate Editor (AE) of IEEE Transactions on Big Data (IEEE TBD), Top SCI journal in big data.  

Oct 11, 2022: I was ranked the World’s Top 1% Scientists in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing by Stanford University in 2022.  

Sep 28, 2022: I have been elevated to be CCF Distinguished Member (CCF杰出会员). 

Sep 15, 2022: One paper was accepted by NeurIPS 2022. Congrats to Jicong. 

June 30, 2022: Six papers were accepted by ACM MM 2022. Congrats to my postgraduate students:  Yanyan Wei, Suiyi Zhao, Huan Zheng, Jiahuan Ren. 

Mar 2, 2022: Two papers were accepted by CVPR 2022. Congrats to Jicong and my master student: Huan Zheng.

Sep 18, 2020: Second NSFC general project on restricted paired data-driven single image deraining and restoration is approved (as PI).  

Sep 17, 2020: I am pleased to accept the invitation of Prof. Gaurav Sharma (EiC) to join IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (IEEE TIP, CCF-Rank A) as an Associate Editor (AE). This is my first AE role for IEEE Transactions.  

May 20, 2020: Supported by the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (安徽省杰青项目).

Oct 14, 2017: I have been elevated to be IEEE Senior Member and CCF Senior Member.  

Feb 20, 2017: I am invited to become an Associate Editor (AE) of IET Image Processing. This is my first AE role for SCI-indexed journal. 

Dec 31, 2016: In this year, we got 5 papers accepted, including 1 IEEE TIP, 1 IEEE TSP, 1 IEEE TII, 1 IEEE TNNLS and 1 ICDM. 

Aug 18, 2016: First NSFC general project on low-rank and sparse coding algorithms for robust feature learning is approved (as PI).  

Aug 18, 2014: NSFC youth project on semi-supervised classification by label propagation is approved (as PI).  

Oct 14, 2013: After the PhD study, I start my career at Soochow University as an Associate Professor of computer science.
