Model Rocket Launch

Come have a BLAST and let your rockets fly! As announced at the October Pack meeting, all Pack 1461 Scouts and their families are invited to join us for a model rocket launch Saturday, November 4 from 1:00 to 5:00.

Cost is $5 per participant.

Rocket kits and engines will be available for purchase. New Scouts receive a free rocket if they have submitted an application to the Pack (if your new Scout son did not receive his free rocket, please e-mail membership.pack1461@gmail.com so we can get you one).

Please do not bring any rockets that were not given out through Scouting.

In addition to launching model rockets, there will be many fun activities including archery, rocket building, a climbing wall and more! Food will also be available for purchase.

You can sign up at: https://scoutingevent.com/082-launchdays2017 and scroll down to the event at Mt. Prospect Farm on Nov. 4. Pre-registration is encouraged in order to reserve rockets and engines.

Siblings and friends are welcome to participate!

Directions: Use the Google maps address of 13705 Turkey Foot Road, though there is no mail box or building at that location.

Remember to wear your uniform! We will be outdoors, so dress accordingly.
