Spring Cleanup in Rock Creek Park

Let’s Get Outside!

Join the Pack for our Spring service activity as we help clean up Rock Creek Park. It's a great opportunity for the boys to make a difference in the environment while getting some fresh air! We will work on clearing trash and debris from a section of the park near Jones Bridge Road and I-495.

Registration

Please register on our SignUpGenius site so that we can be prepared for the appropriate number of Scouts and families.

What to Bring/Wear

All materials needed for the cleanup activity will be provided.

Scouts should wear their Pack 1461 T-shirts and uniform hats.

Sunscreen and sturdy shoes are recommended for all participants. Long sleeves and long pants are also a good idea.

Where

Rock Creek Park, Chevy Chase, MD. We will meet at the small parking area on Jones Mill Road near the intersection with Levelle Dr. (The parking area is adjacent to a playground which is visible from the road). If you are using GPS to get there, you can find the location by entering Jones Mill Rd at Levelle Drive, Chevy Chase.
