Summer Update

I hope you are having wonderful summer! Our Scouts have had many wonderful adventures over the past two months. We had a great turn out for Cub Scout Day Camp, and it was a huge hit once again. Many thanks to Kim Desmond for coordinating and to Aaron Auerbach and Bob D'Avignon for joining Kim as Den Walkers! Our Cubs also cheered on the Big Train after having the honor of participating in the opening flag ceremony. We also had many former Pack 1461 Cubs (including our recent graduates) participating in Boy Scout Camp. The picture is from the campfire at Goshen, the NCAC summer camp in Goshen, Virginia. I enjoyed time there as well! Just a reminder that our first Pack Meeting is tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 14. We will post all of our meeting dates as soon as our Wyngate APR reservations are confirmed. Get out there and enjoy your summer!
