C. Synergistic Activities
As a Director of Instructional Technology and Student Retention, she is responsible for developing and implementing all of the Instructional Technology infrastructure supporting the educational programs within the College of Science and Technology.
As an faculty at TSU, she is teaching in the Department of Computer Science. Her responsibilities are:
• Give lectures on the course material
• Provide laboratory experience that illustrates the concepts of that course
• Give tests over the material
• Provide information that support the course. (i.e. Blackboard)
She is responsible to develop a database to track student retention. The database will follow the students progress at the College of Science and Technology. The database will be link to a web-site interface where all the advisors will be able to monitor students’ academics performance. In addition, the database will have course management online resources. The goal of the College of Science and Technology is to achieve a more flexible course curriculum, where all students can graduate on time.
