Mugshot extortion, referred to as the Mugshot Publishing industry, is an extortion racketeer formed as a result of Allen Rostron. Because of Allen's literature, criminals and fraudsters setup shop and began mass spamming.
When the industry was said to skyrocket was march of 2013, however our research through the Web Archive Org indicates this boom in the industry took place in early 2011.
One of the most infamous and archaic among them is mugshots.com. Its original owner didn't purchase the domain due desiring to use it for mugshots but rather coffee mugs.
It was in early 2003 that the ownership switched over to the two recent owners Sahar Sarid and Thomas Keesee.

You'd think that might act as a deterrent because surely an individual would have sympathy upon others in his predicament.
