Due to the uniqueness of the different competitive events that Science Olympiad offers, you’ll have the opportunity to explore largely unfamiliar branches of science like Astronomy, Geology, and Forestry. Through your desire to show your skills at competition, you'll develop a stellar study habit that will carry out to every other aspect of your life.
Research Skills
Many Science Olympians know that you can never know too much, so we research A LOT for our events. For study, lab, and build events alike, members search through a plethora of resources to gather as much information about their topics as they can. Knowledge is truly powerful for our team!
Inspiration
You will be inspired by our members, other teams, and even by yourself! Past members in Cinco SciOly have been accepted into prestigious universities like MIT, Rice, UT Austin, CMU, Caltech, and Johns Hopkins. Your teammates’ dedication will inspire you to work harder and make you truly feel like you belong in the Science Olympiad community.
Recognition
Science Olympiad is one of the few competitive organizations that is focused on STEM development at Cinco Ranch. It allows students to compete with like-minded individuals on a regional, state, and national level. Science Olympiad also supports not only the team effort, but also the individual, but allow students to place in individual events as well as the overall team.
