Tools of Science

It is important that students learn about the tools of Science and how to correctly use the tools during Science labs. It is also important that students are taught the safety rules when taking part in a lab lesson. It is also important that students, teachers, and parents all sign the Lab Safety contract. Students will be using tools that can break, therefore safety precautions need to be covered thoroughly before students use any of the Science tools.

Once this has been completed, it is time for students to learn about the various tools. This Slides presentation covers the most common tools used by middle school students in Science labs. If all of the tools individual teachers are not included in this presentation, they can make a copy of the presentation and add additional slides.
