Pitch Development
Latest information
We have a working pitch, with posts, goal ropes, goals and pitch-marking ropes with corner buoys. The pontoon and ramp provide safe access to the water.
Referees have access to the pitch along both sides.
There is a storage shed for goals and polo equipment.
Recent Upgrades
Early in 2022, a number of Polo Players upgraded the Pontoon and Ramp with additional anti-slip gratings and new scaffolding boards.
Goals continue to need repair - some strong shooters here in Bristol!
Plans
Refurbish or provide a toilet facility near to the pitch
Kit available for hire for youth groups and beginners
Temporary pitches in the Cumberland Basin for larger tournaments
