Cozy Powell 4ever is not a fan group or community—it is a solo tribute project created and maintained by a single individual, Renato Powell.
Inspired by the explosive technique and unique charisma of Cozy Powell, whom I met personally at the Copacabana Palace during Rock in Rio 1985, the legendary drummer who passed away in 1998, and the tribute album Cozy Powell Forever by Loudness drummer Munetaka Higuchi (d. 2008), this project keeps their legacies alive.
The website, featuring nearly 500 pages of biography, sessions, tributes, and bootlegs, and the YouTube channel, with over 600 videos including my own performances of Cozy’s music, are entirely my work.
All content is provided for free, without monetization, driven by my passion for drumming and dedication to honoring these two icons.
The name "4ever" subtly nods to Higuchi’s vision while continuing the tribute to the greatest drummer of all time, Cozy Powell.
