About the Production & Remastering

• Project Overview: A collaborative human-AI remastering of Rainbow’s legendary live performance at Düsseldorf Philipshalle on September 27, 1976 (Deutschland Tournee 1976, Hummingbird / AFM Records, T2CD0110).

• Main Objective: Enhance overall punch, clarity, and warmth while giving a custom turbo boost to Cozy Powell's powerhouse drumming, strictly preserving native 16-bit audio integrity.

Phase 1: Custom Artwork Redesign

• Front Cover: Integrated the bespoke "Cozy Powell 4ever Enhanced Edition" signature text.

• Back Cover: Updated the release metadata block while maintaining the authentic 2006 European release aesthetic.

Phase 2: FFmpeg Audio Processing Chain

1. Global Equalization: Opened up the mix, adding warmth to the low-end and presence to the guitars and Ronnie James Dio’s vocals.

2. Cozy Powell Drum Turbo Boost: Targeted specific frequencies to make the snare crack and the heavy bass drum cut through the 1976 mix.

3. Loudness Maximization & Preservation: Applied safe peak limiting below 0 dBFS while anchoring output to the 16-bit source standard.
