Web Research LINKS

Note: these websites are some of the many sites on the internet related in some way to the issues in this class that I found some value in sharing with you-I'm sure there are many others out there with value as well. They are not a representation of my personal views and they may not all have the most up to date information or have all the same facts and stats. It's important to look at the sources on any website you go to and if you see something that seems out of date or different from what you have learned elsewhere, let me know and also please give the site feedback or ask questions of them to get clarification when needed.

The one link that is mandatory for the web research review project (out of the 2 you must review and write about) is in bold red under Section number 1 and it's called Global Issues that Affect Everyone. I chose this site because it helps us to see the connection between all of the issues and it also shows you an example of how one person, in his spare time has both gathered information and written articles, thoughtfully about global issues and how we can work towards solving and preventing these issues in our future.

Note: These links are not an endorsement of any one particular belief, idea or movement. Rather, these are a number of websites that are alternative solutions, responses and movements to an increasingly exploitative, unsustainable system that lacks basic human decency and the deeply human qualities of empathy and compassion. My hope is that these sites will expand your current perspective and give you pause for re-imagining a future to re-make a socially constructed reality to include these qualities within all institutions and facets of life on beautiful, rare and amazing planet earth.

All of the links that cover many topical areas within them will fall into the first group called General info group. More specific sites fall into the category more specific to the content, even though almost all of the sites overlap to a degree because ALL THINGS ARE CONNECTED...

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANY OF THESE LINKS DO NOT WORK SO THAT I CAN FIX THEM ASAP. CONTACT: cousars@lanecc.edu
