Gore Vidal's mother was Nina Gore (b 1903). She married as her second husband (and his second wife) to Hugh Dudley Auchincloss. Their son was Thomas Gore Auchincloss (b 1937). He married Didi Lippert; She married afterwards to Frank Shields (b 1942). Frank by his first wife Teri Schmon were the parents of Brooke Shields.
