In 2002 John Eric Drummond (born 1935), upon the death of his father that year, became the 9th(18th) Earl of Perth
Much is known of his father's ancestry, he has many royal lines through the families of Drummond, Constable, Vavasour, Howard, Talbot and others. However very little has ever been written connecting him to his mother's American family.
