The Dynamism Index (DYI) measures a notional premium (or deficit) of economic freedom above total public sector delivery.
DYI is estimated by the composite index triangulation equation-form as follows.
DYI = {EFWI - WGI}, simplifed
DYI = [ Economic Freedom ] - [ Public Sector Delivery ]
A triangulation equation-form refers to a two-point measurement methodology capable of imputing statistical confidence derived from mutually independent uniform data series that are referenced to an identical sample set (country set).
Measures of Economic Freedom

Legal Security & Property Rights
Access to Sound Money
Freedom to Trade Internationally
Regulation of Credit
Labour & Business
Measures of World Governance
Voice & Accountability
Political Stability
Government Effectiveness
Regulatory Quality
Rule of Law
Control of Corruption
The DYI thus captures a transposition of country outcomes on the Economic Freedom of the World Index (EWFI) in contraposition to country results for core world governance indicators measured by the World Bank World Governance Index (WGI).
