Preschool - Ages 2 to 5

About our preschool:

    • We are dedicated to providing quality childcare in an environment that is safe, fun and nurturing. Our belief is that children learn best by being actively involved in a supportive environment, and that play is the work of young children. We strive to provide a warm, loving atmosphere, and a responsive staff who meet the professional standards of San Diego Community Care Licensing.

    • We work toward fostering a healthy self-esteem for all children, and developing a life-long enthusiasm for learning. "WE CARE FOR KIDS!"

Our preschool goals include:

    • Meeting children's developmental needs in the areas of social, cognitive, physical, emotional, and creative growth.

    • Offering a play based curriculum with a wide variety of planned, indoor and outdoor activities which include circle time, art activities, weekly Spanish class, music & movement, science & math, language & literature, and cooking experiences

    • Monitoring children's development through annual assessments and portfolios, which are shared with parents during parent conferences.

    • Developing a sense of "community" with the families. We invite our parents to participate in a variety of activities such as volunteering for field trips, Halloween Carnival, Christmas time spaghetti dinner, and other special events.
