Since we spread bark dust this summer, we likely won’t need to spend money on that this year. Our plan is to spread new bark dust every other summer. Is there another area that needs attention/work? Any ideas for Common Area improvements?
The irrigation system in the 29th Ave common area continues to need repairs and maintenance. There was an incident of vandalism last year that shut down the system for the year. Please keep an eye out for suspicious activity in that area. That damage will be repaired this spring. Thanks to the repairs on that system, our water costs have been reduced during the months when we have the system on.
Printing of quarterly assessment letters and the newsletters has been handed over to Kinko’s at a significant money and time savings over home printing. However, the cost of stamps and other supplies continue to increase. Any homeowner who wants to receive assessment letters and their newsletters via email could help reduce these costs.
