The "Corridor" Collegiate name comes from an East Central Iowa term for the "corridor" area that stretches between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City along Interstate 380. The Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor of Linn, Benton, Cedar, Jones, Johnson, and Washington counties have a background with youth shooting sports in their middle schools and high schools.

For the Spring 2019 season, student athletes in this club were from Kirkwood Community College, Mt Mercy University and Warburg College.

All practice, entry fees, uniform and travel are paid for by each student athlete.

Student athletes on this team are primarily from the Interstate 380 and Interstate 80 corridor in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas and expands in either direction ~70 miles.
