The Corridor Outdoor Adventures and Corridor Clay Crushers educate the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids corridor community about shooting sports.
This shooting sports team has managed student-athletes from high school to collegiate teams and is changing and growing while it adapts to community needs.

REQUIREMENTS OF CLAY SHOOTING MEMBERS:
This shooting sports team will compete as a registered SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program) team. In doing so, several memberships are required:
SCTP, ATA and ISTA Memberships: To complete in SCTP state competitions for trapshooting: current year SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program) and ATA (American Trapshooting Association) and Iowa Trapshooting Association Memberships are required.
Additional Memberships: If student athletes participate in optional events of skeet and sporting clays: current year NSCA & NSSA (National Sporting Clays & National Skeet Association) Memberships are required.
The SCTP requires that required that Shooting Sports Athletes on this team must have a minimum of 12 credit hours in college per semester of school while participating, as well as staying in good standing with grades with the college that they are attending. Detailed requirements can also be viewed in the SCTP/SSSF documentation for Sportsmanship Contract and Consent Waiver that each student athlete will sign (see www.SSSFonline.org for additional details).
Equipment. All student athletes are required to provide their own firearm, ammunition and entry fees. (At this time, there are no scholarships available for students being on this club team. There will be opportunities for fundraising and student athlete participation in fundraising is highly encouraged)
Additionally, this team may compete in Association of College Unions International ACUI sanctioned events which require that ALL student athletes must prove eligibility and review the code of conduct prior to competing in an ACUI conference or National competition. In addition, the school that is represented by the student athletes must provide a school sponsor approved affiliation document at registration for an ACUI event.

SEASON: The season for this team runs from August of each year through the end of April.
