Born in California, currently residing in Miami, Fla., Dr. Wilhelm is a second generation practicing physician and insurance executive. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida and his training in Internal Medicine from the University of Miami. He is a board-certified Internist and has practiced in Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma.
Dr. Wilhelm was a decorated S.A.C. flight surgeon during Vietnam and has been in the managed care industry since the federal HMO act was passed in 1973. He has held senior positions in National Managed Care companies usually as Chief Medical Officer or Senior Vice President of Medical affairs for 4 decades. He is a strong proponent of disease management and information management as tools to increase quality and reduce global cost in healthcare. He is a Partner, Chairman of the Board and serves as Chief Medical Officer of Healthlink Corporation.
Mr. D’Albieri has had over four decades of experience spanning the HMO, PPO, TPA and Physician Practice Management industries with particular focus on strategic planning and business development in both the commercial and government sectors. He was a co-founder of the Heritage PPO and Heritage Health Plan where he helped to develop the company's first provider risk-sharing model. He subsequently founded Health Access, Inc., a multi-state Preferred Provider Organization with over 250,000 covered lives.
Mr. D’Albieri also served as V.P. of Managed Care for MedPartners-Caremark, the nation’s largest physician practice management company, with physician practice acquisitions and clinical operations in over 40 states. He was a partner and held several C-level management positions with Health System One, a managed healthcare enterprise consisting of a TPA, a Provider Delivery System, and two Health Plans. He also served as CEO of The Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Mr. D'Albieri is a founding partner, board member and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Healthlink Corporation.
Jay H. Sanders, M.D., is the CEO of The Global Telemedicine Group, Professor of Medicine (Adjunct) at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the Founding Board Member, President Emeritus and Fellow of the American Telemedicine Association and he chaired the Scientific, Military and Medical Advisory Board of the National Science Foundation/NC State University ASSIST Nano-systems Sensor Center.
Known to many as the "Father of Telemedicine", he was responsible for developing the first Statewide telemedicine system, the first Correctional telemedicine program, the first Tele-homecare technology, called "The Electronic House Call", and the first Telemedicine kiosk.
Dr. Sanders consulting activities have included NASA, DOD, HHS, the VA, the FCC, State Governments, the Southern Governors Association, the MIT Media Lab, WHO, academic institutions, investment firms, Fortune 500 companies, and International Governments. In 1994, he introduced telemedicine's capability to the Assistant Secretary of Defense that culminated in the initiation of the use of this technology within DOD.
He was subsequently asked to serve as the sole civilian representative on the DOD Telemedicine Board of Directors with the Surgeon Generals of the Army, Navy and Air Force. During the Clinton Administration he represented the USA to the G8 nations for telemedicine, and was appointed by former HHS Secretary Leavitt, to the Chronic Care Workgroup.
Dr. Sanders is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, magna cum laude, a member of the honor medical society, AOA, and did his residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he became Chief Medical Resident. In 1970, he developed the first Division of General Medicine in the country at the University of Miami where he was Professor of Medicine and Chief of Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Other academic appointments include being Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was Director of the Telemedicine Institute, Visiting Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and Visiting Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. He is a Partner and member of the Board of Directors of Healthlink Corporation.
Mr. Madill is a seasoned care management professional with over 40 years of experience in the HMO, ACO, TPA, EPO, and Indemnity Insurance sectors. He served as VP of Operations for several major health plans with Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Group membership ranging from 148K to 2.8M lives.
Fred directed operations for Health Plans such as AmeriChoice (a subsidiary of United Healthcare,) Unison Health Plan, Neighborhood Health Partnership, and Physician Corporation of America, Inc. Some of his accomplishments under those plans included; increasing membership to over 400K lives, reducing annual medical expenses by $9 million, increasing plan profitability by more than 12%, and implementing new managed care products and programs including a TPA under Medicaid Reform.
Mr. Madill’s care management expertise spans the total spectrum of Health Plan Operations including Claims Administration, Member Services, Call Center Operations, Enrollment Processing, HIPAA Transactions and IT. Presently he is an independent healthcare consultant based in South Florida and serves on the Board of Directors of Healthlink Corporation.
