I am dedicating this recipe to Masha, a coworker who fell in love with them when I brought them to work. (If I do a cooking episode on them I will mention this there as well.)

90 free cookies

Cookies

3 cups soft white whole wheat flour

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup palm oil, softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 TBL water

1 dram Lorann watermelon oil

1 ½ TBL chili powder

flour, for rolling out dough

Frosting

15 oz vinalla frosting can, (any brand will work but I usually get the cheap stuff.)

1 dram Lorann orange oil

Green gel (Optional), for writing on the cookies.

Directions

This recipe is a modification of Alton Brown’s sugar cookies. Follow the instructions at the link and ad the chili powder with the dry ingredients and the watermelon oil with the wet.

Mix the orange oil with the frosting and frost the cookies as the link says to. Use the optional gel to write 90 Free in cursive on the cookies.

Fun fact:

The name came from a combination of my strange mind and the fact that the original batch was gluten free.
