About Sunday Jumble

Directions for Sunday Jumble

Sunday Jumble uses 6, 6-character scrambled words for more challenging gameplay. Un-jumble the two words on the left to advance to the next set or scrambled clues. The circled letters in each of these answers become the jumbled letters to answer the games cartoon clue. Click on the cartoon for a larger version and solve the clue!

Play Game

Scoring

Each letter in an answer has a value of 10 points. When you solve an answer in the first 30 seconds of play, your score for the word is multiplied by 5 (5X). In the second 30 seconds, the multiplier decreases to 4X, etc. Click the HINT button if you are stuck. However, Hints deduct 15 points (times the multiplier). Solve the puzzle quickly for a high score!

Web Instructions

Drag and drop or type the letters in the answer squares. Drag and drop or hit your delete key to move incorrect letters back into the clue box. The active answer square is highlighted. Click the HINT button if you are stuck. After solving the puzzle, use the calendar button to select another game from the archive.

Mobile Instructions

Jumble is best experienced in Portrait mode on mobile phones. For all mobile devices, tap a letter to add it to the first available or active answer square. Tap the scrambled letters in the order in which they will correctly spell the word. Tap incorrect letters in order to place them back in the letter holder.The active answer square is highlighted. Tap the HINT button if you are stuck. Buttons will re-arrange themselves when solving clues to save space on smaller devices. After solving the puzzle, use the calendar button to select another game from the archive.
